Role Purpose:

Salesforce QA Tester with Katalon knowledge is the link between the business and application development team, verifying that what is developed meet defined use cases.  The Test Engineer create test plans, conduct manual and automated testing for Salesforce applications, and provide status reports on the full end-to-end user experience, Findings and work with developers to improve systems.

Context

Majid Al Futtaim is looking for a Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Test Analyst with 4 to 9 years of work experience to develop and execute SIT, UAT, exploratory & automated tests to ensure Product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for Conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. Ultimately, tester should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Role Details – Key Deliverables

• Test, troubleshoot and analyse software functionality, and user interfaces
• Perform Manual, Functional, System Integration, Regression and UI (User Interface) testing
• Liaise and work closely with Software Developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders where defined
• Participate in feature development and drive quality into development process
• Plan, design, and execute tests the Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing and Community cloud) modules like - Account, Leads and conversion, Opportunity, Contact, Data loader, Reports & Dashboard, SF Integrations etc., landscape to include all potential use cases for successful negative testing.
• Ensure test cases align with requirements and adhere to a clear set of quality standards and guidelines
• Develop a strong and productive relationship with internal customers (business users)

• For each component of the solution, all individual user stories and its various scenarios are successfully tested.
• Usability testing of the front end customer facing systems – web / mobile app is completed and approvals are secured.
• Regression testing of the solution as it iterates through changes

Definition of Success

• The failure rates of the tested solutions after go-live are under 0.05%.

• Willing to work extended hours after work as needed for critical operation support

Functional/Technical Competencies

Test Management

• Can analyse functional documents, user stories, technical documentations and relevant project documentation and build test cases & scripts.  
• Can engage in meaningful engagement with the relevant stakeholders in identifying all the different potential scenarios of each use cases.
• Is able to review existing data (both quantitative and qualitative) and identify patterns that suggests the different test scenarios that must be considered.
• Is intuitive and have a thorough understanding of the Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing and Community cloud) modules like - Account, Leads and conversion, Opportunity, Contact, Data loader, Reports & Dashboard, SF Integrations etc., landscape to include all potential use cases for successful negative testing.
• Can organize and lead initiatives to improve test processes, extend the use of tools / frameworks (where appropriate) and develop team members to improve efficiency.
• Keeps track of test results, bug reports, execution logs and co-ordinate with the technical and function leads to drive the bugs to closure.

Governance & control

• Ensure test results are recorded, and a release to next stage is not allowed until critical test acceptance parameters are met.
• Ensure test outcomes are defined for all test cases prior to the test executions, ad test are objectively assesses against such outcomes.
• Is methodical in ensuring that, all assigned testing activities are carried out by the team in the timelines required, and no shortcuts or bypasses are taken
• Maintain test logs and results and ensure test reports are ranked on a risk scale and shared with all stakeholders to enable effective risk mitigations.

Technical

• Good Knowledge of Salesforce Applications
• Should have an experience in SIT and UAT of the Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing and Community cloud) modules like - Account, Leads and conversion, Opportunity, Contact, Data loader, Reports & Dashboard, SF Integrations etc.,
• Good knowledge of Integrations, CIAM platforms & API Gateways.

Minimum experience

• Bachelor's degree in related field; or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in software development or QA.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of automate testing using Katalon
• Candidate should have hands on experience testing salesforce applications
• Candidate should have hands on testing Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing and Community cloud) modules like - Account, Leads and conversion, Opportunity, Contact, Data loader, Reports & Dashboard, SF Integrations etc., landscape to include all potential use cases for successful negative testing etc.
• Prior experience testing previous versions of SAP application is useful
• Candidate should have good Functional knowledge/experience of SAP, Salesforce applications
• Should have experience with bug and feature tracking systems such as JIRA, QC, etc.
• Should have experience with Agile and SCRUM preferred.
• Proven track record in assisting with bringing a new product to market and/or major versions of existing products.
• Solid test management background within a fast-paced business with experience using multiple testing technologies.
• Responsible for Designing the Automation Framework.
• Responsible for creating , enhancing , debugging and running test cases that cover various scenarios and test conditions.
• Managing changes and executing Regression Tests.
• Experience in automating scripts using Katalon tool with Groovy, Selenium with Java.
• Experience in mobile and Web applications testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
